Verdict

Although Sweet Coral is nicely bred, being by Pennekamp out of a Danehill mare, she comes from a yard not known for their great success with first time out juveniles and preference is for Son Of Halling, who should only have Eboracum Lady to beat. The last mentioned has been a 50/1 shot in each of her two races to date, latterly when a close up third of four behind Introducing at Newcastle. While undoubtedly flattered by her close proximity to two useful types in a falsely run race that day, she has ability and should give Son Of Halling most to do. David Daly's colt has finished in the frame in both his starts to date and should only need to reproduce the same level of form of his last time out third to Sandenista to win this. The remainder look a distinctly moderate bunch with Kincob probably the best of them but Son Of Halling has solid claims and it will be a surprise if he is not good enough to beat these.
