Verdict

Sir Jack Layden still suffers the impost of top weight despite finishing in the last two on no less than six of his last seven starts. Sea The Skies is of interest tackling this trip for the first time and Indian Chief has a chance if back to the form shown at this venue on his seasonal reappearance, Mr Gallivanter is up in grade but is not ruled out along with the consistent Light Of Asia. However, EMERAHLDZ (NAP) has delivered a steady level of progression throughout her career, knows how to win and produced a more than satisfactory comeback effort when a close-up sixth in a decent York handicap behind Pressure Point. She should be spot-on now and the ever-improving Sammy Jo Bell claims a valuable 5lb.
