LAWYER has run well in both starts this year and was placed in a higher grade handicap at Ripon three weeks ago. David Barron's charge may be good enough, despite an unfavourable high draw. Trinity Star is upped in class after beating Westwood Hoe at Pontefract and finished behind In Focus at Wetherby before that. The latter also beat Lord Franklin and should be in the mix again. Manchestar made a winning return at Doncaster last year and has a shout despite racing off 4lb higher mark than when last successful while Talent Scout and the veteran Camerooney are others with a chance.
