In depth

Verdict

Bawsian had a fitness advantage over Jack Dawson when the pair clashed at Newmarket last month and the latter, who found trouble in running, should be able to reverse the placings on 2lb better terms for just over a length. John Berry's charge will appreciate the stiffer test of stamina and his turn of foot will prove a potent weapon on his favoured ground. Sashay and Best Port are closely matched on Nottingham form and shouldn't be far away while Missouri is the least exposed and takes a drop in class after running well in a hot handicap at Newbury last month.
