In depth

Verdict

This is tricky with Nevada Desert in great form along with Atlantic Story but we will side with the last named, with Handsome Falcon also worth noting. The selection is unbeaten in five outings on the all-weather so far. He started his winning streak off a mark of fifty five and is now rated seventy six which is his all-weather mark. He has not been seen since Feburary but has run well fresh in the past so is given the nod to continue his winning ways. Nevada Desert carries a six-pound penalty for his latest win at Beverley so connections must feel he is better off with that rather than wait to be reassessed. He has proven form on all types of going so that is in his favour and is definitely on the short list. Handsome Falcon has no weight to carry and comes here on the back of a win at Beverley of which he is only four-pounds worse off. If showing no effects from that he can go well. But in a race that throws up more questions than answers we will give the tentative vote to Atlantic Story.
