In depth

Verdict

Quick Look ran better than the final result suggests at Ripon and is starting to look dangerously well handicapped. But THE ARMED MAN could also be well drawn among the low numbers and he’s now a pound lower than when scoring at Haydock last summer. Chris Fairhurst’s charge seeks a fifth course victory and looked to be coming to hand at Catterick last time. Dandys Gold is a consistent sort at this level but End Zone, who scored in a higher grade at Carlisle, looks a bigger danger. Mutanaaseq has only found one too good the last twice while Highjacked has won twice over track and trip already this year but steps up a grade. Dick Datchery is invariably slow to stride but well treated if getting away on terms.
