Verdict

FRIENDS OF TINA is our call at the expense of Ere Alfie and Good Parade. Alex Hales' mare was in the process of running a fair race when departing at the seventh on seasonal reappearance. She appears to have few issues in relation to the going and the likely going should bring her stamina into play. Ere Alfie is sure to be popular after a win at Fontwell. The handicapper has put him up 11lb for that success though in fairness, he has campaigned off similar marks previously over hurdles. Good Parade has dropped massively down the weights and on the basis of his Irish form, he would make plenty of appeal if the market speaks positively. Flashy Conquest has won at Taunton previously and Joe Tizzard elects to ride him rather than Go Johnny Go. Anay Turge seems to appreciate the going to be hock deep so if he can build upon a decent effort at Warwick, he has to be a factor. Brimham Boy has shown improved form since leaving David Bridgwater to join Martin Keighley. Overlaw has not shown a great deal in public though Richard Johnson riding a feather weight for Tom George has to create plenty of interest on its rarity alone. Many with plausible formbook claims though on this occasion, we take a flyer with Friends Of Tina.
