In depth

Verdict

Kalimantan failed to follow up his Chepstow victory when odds-on at Towcester and has gone up 9lb since. He's probably worth opposing but Bus Named Desire may have been flattered by her third at Stratford while An Capall Mor was tailed off in a seller at Fakenham last week. ROYAL ETIQUETTE won on the Flat in August and was far from disgraced over a similar trip when fourth at Towcester last time. He's been dropped a pound since so is preferred to the returning Grand Gigolo and long-standing maiden Watchmetail.
