      Verdict

A truly dire race strictly for officiandos only. Its hard to believe that Great Crusader was once crossing swords with the likes of Behrajan a couple of years ago but this injury-prone performer attempts to follow up his recent win in the grade today. He has to go an extra mile today and with stamina unproven, it may pay to look beyond the obvious. Especially since as one of the likely market fancies, Asking, is another to have serious stamina doubts about. Ndr's Cash For Fun is hardly the most straight-forward of characters but at least the horse has experience over the course and distance. Commanche Summer, who drops in grade today, looks the most likely alternative.
