Verdict

Dan Gun finally came good over a slightly longer trip at Huntingdon and it would be no surprise if he followed up off a 7lb higher mark here, though CLEARLY CAPABLE is just preferred. Placed at Uttoxeter and Chepstow recently for Dai Burchell, he has joined an in-form yard and today’s slightly better ground will suit. Akkapenko’s bubble was burst at Chepstow but Hahadi should go well and Eric The Third is also interesting. Russian's Legacy hasn’t raced since causing an 80/1 shock at Newton Abbot in June.
