In depth

Verdict

A MONTMARTRE gave the impression she didn’t stay the 2m5f at Kempton last time. She’d run well for third over a shorter trip at Plumpton earlier and Nick Mitchell’s mare can go close again in a poor handicap. Hermarna finished ahead of the latter when placed at Plumpton earlier in the year though it was soft ground on that occasion but the remainder have yet to show any form worthy of a mention, though Maggie's Dawn may improve now handicapping for the first time.
