Verdict

Recession Proof won the betfair Hurdle in 2011 but has shown little since, though has travelled a long way for this. Somemothersdohavem was just outbattled by Lord Protector at Chepstow last Saturday and appears to be running into form but we fancy CEASAR MILAN to defy his penalty now he's got his head in front. He trotted up over track and trip nine days ago and Harry Derham again takes off 3lb. Maller Tree has reverted to type since winning at Fakenham last month while Lamps looks too high in the weights now.
