Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

The five-year-old CLIC WORK was such a convincing winner on his chasing debut at Doncaster that an 8lb rise is unlikely to prevent a follow-up and he should go on to better things. Dream Bolt is on a four-timer and his victories have come on good and heavy going. He's up 6lb for his victory at Chepstow but is improving quickly enough to give another good account. Mad Jack Mytton, a useful hurdler on his day, made a fine start to his chasing career over 2m4f at Market Rasen where he was unlucky in-running and it will be a surprise if he's not thereabouts at the finish. The very versatile War Singer has an excellent career strike-rate of 11-47, including two victories over fences, so he can never be ruled out while the veteran Sew On Target easily won a Class 2 handicap at this time last year and is lower in the weights. Johnny Og has competed at a higher level since his Stratford victory, though faces another tough task.
