Verdict

Captain Buck's has his first start for Paul Nicholls having finished third over 1m4f at Vichy last May. But his breeding suggests a longer trip would better suit and he may find MISTERTON a tough nut to crack. Harry Fry's charge may have seen too much daylight when fourth over track and trip in November and better is expected today. Mac Gregory carries a penalty after making a winning start at Ludlow and will need to improve again while this could be too sharp for winning pointer Next Lot. But Admiral's Secret is worth a second look being a full brother to winning hurdler/chaser Mount Gunnery.
