Verdict

Delta Borget won this last year when Anglingforcharlie was a last-fence faller. But Les Jefford’s veteran was beaten more than 20 lengths when MONSIEUR GIBRALTAR (NAP) dotted up in a novice riders’ contest between the flags at Milborne St Andrew earlier this month and is worse off at the weights today. The latter’s partner is having his first ride under Rules today but probably only need to get his mount around safely to record a debut success. Ballytober could be the danger as he will have benefited from his fourth in an Open at Barbury Rings.
