In depth

Verdict

Just a small line up for this novice chase and we like the look of The Luder who can get the better of Il Duce and Back For The Craic. The selection made hard work of his recent Kempton victory but was very much expected to improve for that initial outing over fences, as he had a few niggling problems and as a result had not been as well schooled as connections would have liked. If that is the case he should be capable of going in again in the stronger company. Il Duce has taken on some decent types since beating Inch Pride back in May. Against this opposition he should play amajor role. Back For The Craic was pulled up behind the selection last time but the fact that Nicky Henderson is prepared to take him on again suggests he could be much better than he has shown so far. Kiltimoney and Magical Harry complete the line up but may be out-classed and so we return to The Luder as the likely winner.
