In depth

Verdict

Golden Jeffrey may well improve on his first start for David Pipe’s yard having undergone wind surgery since last in action. But JACKSON HILL makes most appeal in this having found only one too good in testing going at Fontwell last time with Milton Harris’ charge dropping down in class and racing off a similar mark today. Poucor also ran well in better company at Fakenham last time but has something to prove on today’s ground, as does Knight Destroyer, while Karakoram was still beaten a long way when second at Plumpton albeit by the progressive Lightly Squeeze.
