In depth

Verdict

Demon D'aunou won at Market Rasen in October and was taking on decent opposition at Bangor next time under a penalty. On breeding, the extra yardage shouldn’t be a problem while Pirolo won over 1m5f on the Flat for Jim Bolger. Darcy Ward has won between the flags and Marble Moon has shown some ability in bumpers. Cap St Vincent is a half-brother to three winning jumpers so almost definitely better than he showed on his sole start so far. KING OF REALMS’ debut second at Ascot hasn’t really worked out but he’s certain to improve for the experience and drops a grade for this so gets the nod.
