Spring Dream can take this event at the principal expense of Butterfly Rose and Caoba. The grey should have few problems with the prevailing surface and with Robert Thornton taking over riding duties, connections appear confident that everything is in their favour. Butterfly Rose sets the benchmark for the assessor as she is rated at 101. She was heavily backed ahead of a similar event at Towcester in November and failed to deliver after making numerous errors. Caoba receives plenty of weight all around. She was a tad disappointing at Plumpton on her most recent start after catching the eye at Wincanton on her British debut. Fiddling Again was pitched in against the best bumper horses this year but ran alarmingly at Aintree on her final race of the season. Mist Again has an interesting jockey booking and any market attention is duly noted. Tarolina is arguably better than her recent form suggests. Spring Dream should have conditions to suit today and we seek not to oppose.
