Verdict

Impulsive American was a very easy winner at Musselburgh last time but the four-year-old faces a much stiffer ask here stepping up a couple of grades. Tornado In Milan gave a bold sight over a shorter trip here nine days ago and almost ran the finish out of younger rivals. He just looks a shade high in the weights after winning over track and trip earlier, however, while Rock N Rhythm and Ascendant haven't been in the best of form of late. Kingfisher Creek was chasing in the autumn and may need this. AFTER EIGHT SIVOLA has found the going tough since scoring at Fontwell in October but is coming down the weights again and was successful on his only previous start here – he may be ready to strike again.
