      Verdict

A wide open selling hurdle here and many would have chances on their best form but the main protagonists look to be Good Lord Murphy, Awesome Wells, and Ludere and the confident vote goes to Good Lord Murphy. The selection was a fair second in a higher grade behind Station Island last time, that form has since been franked and with conditions to suit he will be hard to beat despite top weight. Awesome Wells rates the main danger he was a fair third behind Blue Leader last time doing all his best work at the finish and if he sees out this longer trip he will be a danger to all. Ludere is another worthy of respect but he has yet to prove he stays this far so for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Influence Pedler will like this quicker ground and is another that looks to be on a fair mark. Of the remainder Cody would have a chance but he has been beset by jumping problems of late so for the winner we return to Good Lord Murphy.
