In depth

Verdict

Irish Cavalier won a Worcester bumper very easily in May and could be a decent hurdling prospect. But he lacks the experience of SNAKE EYES, who went close on his hurdling debut at Kempton last year before finishing fourth in a race at Doncaster that featured some useful novices. His yard won this last year and McCoy's mount can follow up. Strollawaynow is nicely bred and has scope for improvement but Mission To Mars needs to learn to settle. Fergal Mael Duin and West End may need to have their sights lowered to get off the mark.
