Always a competitive contest but if SURF AND TURF can repeat the performance of his impressive Red Rum Chase success at the Grand National meeting then he'll be a tough nut to crack despite an 8lb higher mark. He's reliable, consistent and will not be inconvenienced should any rain get into the ground. Witness In Court will be a danger after the rediscovery of winning form at Perth and the drop in trip is of little concern to him, whilst the solid My Brother Sylvest should go well again, although the feeling persists he may just be in the grip of the assessor. Anquetta has a chance at his best and do keep an eye on It's A Gimme. He showed nothing on his return from an absence of ten months but has been a very useful tool in the past. The market should be the best guide as to his chances in such a competitive affair.
