Verdict

Faustina Pius won twice here in the summer but couldn't cope with her new mark at Bangor at the start of the month and might have preferred a quicker surface. Shockingtimes is still 9lb higher than for his only win over fences but is consistent enough while this is the right time of year for What A Good Night, who won for Nigel Twiston-Davies at this meeting in 2013 and has plenty in his favour again. Twiston-Davies runs MUCKLE ROE in this and we'll take the view that there is more to come from last week's Worcester winner, who has had just the three starts over fences - he gets the nod, despite the penalty.
