Verdict

INGRATITUDE looks to be going the right way over fences now and Nicky Henderson's gelding is taken to follow up his recent Towcester novice chase success off what seems a fair mark for his handicap debut over fences, getting the verdict over Ohana and Nation State. The last mentioned bounced back to winning ways when successful at Cheltenham when last seen in April and Gary Moore's gelding has every chance if fit for his first start since then. Michael Scudamore's Arumun was good value for his win at Uttoxeter last time but a 10lb rise for that looks harsh, while Cheating Chance may be best watched on his chasing debut off what seems a high mark. Tony Carroll's Caliban has more to do than when successful at Market Rasen last time and preference is for Ingratitude.
