Verdict

Chasing debutant Newton Tonic is worth monitoring in the betting but this looks a good opportunity for useful pointer WHAT OF IT. He was second in a handicap at Bangor last May under Paddy Brennan and is now 7lb lower in the weights. Tecktal was runner-up on his only previous start over fences, though is 4lb higher now, but She's Humble is only a pound higher than when successful at Plumpton in January and Phoenix Des Mottes only found Rivermouth too good over 3m at Huntingdon 10 days ago. Neither can be ignored.
