In depth

Verdict

Moabit is progressive and is tried in a handicap after landing a maiden hurdle at Exeter and a novice event at Wincanton. He is receiving weight from his more experienced rivals but will be short enough in the betting for what he's achieved and could be a few pounds too high. Fellow four-year-old Red Tornado has also been cleaning up in novice events while Cool Macavity will be all the better for a run at Punchestown, his first since September. Beltor was a very smart juvenile but he finished behind ROMAN FLIGHT at Haydock and David Dennis' eight-year-old is bidding for a third straight victory in this. He's only a pound higher than last year and a big run is anticipated. Satanic Beat ran on the Flat during the week and may be best of the rest.
