Verdict

John Ferguson sends another ex-Godolphin charge over timber in the shape of Wolverhampton winner Leoncavallo. But a couple of these hurdling newcomers are rated higher on the Flat including PADDYS RUNNER. The latter has only had five starts on the level and, related to three winners over jumps, Alan King's charge gets the vote. Solstalla is a rare hurdler for William Jarvis and is rated 12lb higher on the Flat than Richard Fahey's representative Loom of Life. Ace of Marmalade fared well enough over hurdles at Market Rasen last time and can figure again.
