In depth

Verdict

SANTANI is asked to concede 3lb and upwards to rivals but the formbook suggests he's capable of doing so. He's compiled a laudable record of a runaway win and two seconds in three starts and revealed a good attitude to his work in the process. Olly Murphy fires a double salvo with jockey bookings signposting that Made For You is the stable preferred, although he will have to improve on efforts to date whilst bumper winner Dorette now makes a hurdling bow. Twist has ability but it seemingly not straightforward and therefore Ventura Dragon, backed into favouritism on hurdling debut when a Perth runner-up and a surefire improver, rates the prime threat.
