    Verdict

Song of Vala, Dyneburg and Indian Star are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote is given to Song Of Vala. The Selection won well last time when beating Bauhaus and although having a penalty for that win he looks a progressive type and is taken to score. Dyneburg rates the main danger on his latest second behind Lahib The Fifth but that form has since been let down and he is passed over for that reason. Indian Star is another worthy of respect on his best form but the suspicion is he may just need the run after a 226 day absence. Of the remainder Iffy is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him last time and with this in mind for the winner we return to the progressive Song Of Vala.
