Verdict

Life Of A Luso beat Health Is Wealth in this 12 months ago but is 9lb higher now and has been out of form for a while. The runner-up should reverse the form on 7lb better terms. Marley Roca has climbed the weights but goes well here while Lord Ryeford will have needed his run over a longer trip here in May and is still capable of a bold showing. Peachey Moment won at Sedgefield after a lay-off and Ray Diamond won a novices' handicap at Fontwell 12 days ago, though is taking on battle-hardened opposition here. City Ground has claims on his C&D defeat of Mon Chevalier last month but SPOCK looked one to follow when winning a shade cosily on his reappearance at Worcester and has the scope to defy the inevitable weight rise.
