Verdict

Alexander The Grey almost lost his maiden tag when caught in the closing stages over 2m3f here last month but has further to travel here. Ronnie Lawson, unbeaten in three point-to-points, has yet to score under Rules though has shown enough in this sort of grade to be considered. MASSINI'S LADY won at Wetherby for the Alexander's and will be having her first start for new connections after wind surgery. She's on a very lowly mark and should be capable of better so gets the vote. Brave Helios finished runner-up in this a year ago and has been racing over hurdles so looks to have a chance of going one better.
