A poor start to proceedings can go to El Potro ahead of the likes of Vicky Pollard, Orchestration and Sharp Hat. Nothing catches the eye too much, and bets are best kept to the minimum, with only a small wager recommended on El Potro who has threatened a return to the winner's enclosure on the odd occasion. A past course-and-distance winner, he was a bitter disappointment at Kempton last time when Sharp Hat and Vicky Pollard finished in front of him, but the return to this track will hopefully bring about the required improvement as he bids to get the losses back. One of eight course-and-distance winners in the line-up, Orchestration would have claims on his best form, but is another that is hard to fancy with any degree of confidence, and so the pin comes down on El Potro.
