Verdict

Night of Fortune can take this one, ahead of Shampagne and Heaven and Hell. It's a tight little contest, with only the 5 of them set to face the starter, and with such a small field, the draw may not be much of a factor. Sir Mark Prescott's colt made all when winning last time out at Kempton on Thursday over this distance, and despite a penalty for that success, remains well in at the weights. Teenage jockey Andrea Antanzi's making a name for himself and takes the ride on Heaven and Hell, who's consistently placed, but yet to live up to expectations following a winning debut in April at Bath. It's his first run on the fibresand, and the slower surface may suit. Connections of Shampagne will crack open the bubbly if he notches his third win of the year. He drops back down to this grade, after a couple of disappointing runs among more exalted company, but he does have impressive wins at Pontefract and Kempton to his credit. In a tricky looking affair though, we'll hope to cash in with Night of Fortune.
