PRINCE DES MARIAS caught the eye when finishing second last time out and is taken to go one better in the opener at the expense of Intersky Music and Maclean. The selection ran second to Buckland Gold over course and distance earlier in the month. He is still only lightly raced and seems to be improving with experience so with that in mind he is the one horse in the race to stay on the right side of. Intersky Music broke his maiden tag in a handicap hurdle two years ago but has been winless ever since. He has shown ability in the past but has been off the course through injury for the past twelve months and he maybe best watched on his return. Maclean has been winless for the past four seasons but he caught the eye at this track when third in a similar contest so any market moves should be noted. Prince des Marias looks unexposed compared to the majority of his rivals and with further to come he is difficult to oppose.
