In depth

Formwatch

Strasbourg (USA) Didn't show a great deal last year and consequently has come down the weights; however still needs to show a bit of the old spark before being one to recommend.

Pacific Alliance (IRE) First effort on Fibresand today; has ability and has been given a chance by the handicapper after having been raised for a victory at Musselburgh last year; no forlorn hope.

Copplestone (IRE) Still a maiden but has run some good races in defeat; doesn't look the most straightforward of mounts and inexperienced rider may have a job on her hands.

Arpeggio Inconsistent sort but more than capable when in the mood; stable not setting the world alight at the moment.

Sea Ya Maite Standing dish round here and looked as good as ever when accounting for Ron's Pet last time; sure to run his race and take a hand in the finish.

Akhira Lightly raced well bred filly who showed she retains ability with placed effort last time when possibly in need of the outing; should be fitter today and looks set to go very close.

Hugwity On a hattrick mission after two wins at 10 furlongs and has the speed to handle the drop back in trip here today; leading contender.

Indian Dance Out of form since the turn of the year and very difficult to fancy.

Calling The Shots versatile performer just run out of it over 7f last time and will appreciate the return to this trip; another to consider in an open race.

Sofisio Not the most consistent of animals and unlikely to trouble the judge on these terms.

Spanish Star Drops right back in trip and is most unlikely to benefit from the change; hard to fancy.

Al Ghabraa Sprang a 25/1 shock here last time and only raised a pound for her troubles; could be in the shake-up again if caught in the same mood.

Davis Rock Missed the break last time and better judged on previous sound efforts; should be fitter today and stable must always be respected in this grade.

Sualtach (IRE) A/W regular who is more than capable on his day but is proving hard to catch right for more than a race at a time; others make more appeal.

Ashville Lad Has had a break since two sound efforts in the winter and could get into the action if fit enough to do himself justice.

Inthaar Generally moderate form and hard to get excited about.
