Verdict

This contest hinges on whether TRANS SONIC can produce his best over today's trip. He's done all his winning over a mile and shorter, including four wins here, but was well beaten in a couple of previous starts over C&D back in 2009. However, he's improved since then and David O'Meara's charge gets a tentative vote. Unbreak My Heart scored at Lingfield last week but ran below par on his sole start here and Stadium Of Light looks a better bet to exploit any chinks in the selection's armour. The Oil Magnate has the form on turf to figure but has had just the one outing since 2008.
