Verdict

CITY OF ANGKOR WAT has done well for Jo Hughes and was possibly unlucky not to have followed up his recent victory at Wolverhampton on Friday when he didn't get the best of runs. He looks capable of better and should get back to winning ways. Red Invader is very versatile as he won over 5f at Catterick last time but scored over 7f on this track in April. He hasn't had much racing and looks the type to make further progress. Uncle Brit was in good form here at this time last year and looked on the way back to form at Ayr last month when finding 7f just too short. Young Jackie has won three times on Polytrack but has never run on this surface while this will be Very First Blade's 49th run and his first beyond 7f.
