        Verdict

        This looks desperation time for WU ZETIAN. Andrew Balding's charge looked a certain winner at Wolverhampton but was run out of it by Polly's Rose. She probably should have won by now but won't get a better chance than this. Whispering Star has had a long lay-off but looks capable of winning races. She found 1m4f much too far at Lingfield when last seen in July and is better judged on earlier runs over this sort of trip. Lendal Bridge is the only other with any sort of form and looks destined for a place.
