      Verdict

Sonderborg and Sierra renew rivalries and we will back the former to rescue the full spoils on this occasion. Sonderborg stays further than a mile but looked to appreciate the drop back in trip last time. He is 6lb better in on this occasion and should be coming with a late rattle in the final furlong to pick up the spoils. Sierra has been in rude health of late and that was a third victory on the bounce. A genuine seven furlong performer - eight does stretch her to the limit. Musical Gift is another to be played late. Rated in the middle 60's - he is an infrequent winner who has perhaps needed to drop down the ratings before he will be seen in the winners enclosure. Legal Lover could be a danger to all. The team of Graham Gibbons and Reg Hollinshead have been in solid form in recent weeks and they have accounted for Sonderborg in the past. Lady Suesanne has questions to ask after two poor runs. Having considered the alternatives, Sonderborg is the selection.
