In depth

Verdict

Global Tour’s form could receive a boost in the previous race. STEPOVER loves it here and came up against an improver at Kempton last month. She’s not at all badly treated and can get back to winning ways, though Gwalia is much respected on her favoured ground and also on a fair mark. Jacbequick is sure to be in the firing-line while Inn The Bull is fit from the Flat. Knight Destroyer also warrants a mention but Bold Reason has proved hard to place.
