Verdict

Topanberry, Woody Valentine and Supreme Leisure look to be the leading lights here with the vote given to Topanberry. The selection will have ground conditions to his liking and he won in pleasing fashion at Ayr last time when beating Chief Dan George. He looks to be going the right way and it should pay to follow him again today. Woody Valentine hails from a yard that merits plenty of respect in these type of events and he certainly ran well enough at Wetherby and Cheltenham, but he put in a disappointing effort last time at Chepstow and for that reason we will take him on today. Supreme Leisure won well last time but he is best in really testing conditions. However, this step-up in trip will suit and he should not be dismissed lightly. Mambo is from a yard in decent form so he is another that might run well at a big price, but we will stick with Topanberry who looks the one to beat.
