Verdict

This race appears to be between two last time out winners, KIPCHAK and Royal Envoy, but both will have to overcome penalties to score with More Time Tim and Tyzack waiting in the wings. After much deliberation it's Kipchak that gets the verdict, who hunts for a hat-trick in this race. The previous two victories have come from front running tactics, which are perfectly suited for this track and although now handicapped to effectively carry nine pounds more he is unexposed enough to improve and overcome those terms. Royal Envoy takes to the fibresand for the first time which is always a bit of a worry but the form from his last time out victory is solid enough. That last performance suggested he would win off higher marks and he has every chance with just a penalty weight added. More Time Tim won a maiden last time in impressive style and is from a yard in cracking form so has to be added to calculations while Tyzack has a good record here and is fairly treated. However they'll all have to match and indeed better the performance of Kipchak.
