UNDER REVIEW can build upon a thought provoking debut with Lois Darlin and Wicksy Creek among the dangers. Simon Callaghan's charge is related to a number of six furlong performers and ran as if in need of the experience at Lingfield. The trainer has found a suitably weak contest today and the question is now as to whether the horse can act on the surface or not. Lois Darlin never troubled the principals on her previous visit to Southwell but the form of that race was given something of a boost by La Capriosa at the weekend. Wicksy Creek chased home a 71 rated performer at Lingfield so the handicapper has no alternative but to put him up the handicap. Ultimately that won't matter in this company but the percentage call is that despite that effort, he is still moderate. Hiuntas was formerly trained by Jim Bolger in Ireland. The fact he often wore many aids suggests that being straight forward is not one of his virtues. Air Lion is a highly interesting debutant. He cost 62000 US Dollars at the Keeneland Sales as a yearling and has a very decent pedigree. He may be better in time but it could be significant that he hasn't had the unkindest cut of all. Under Review can build upon an eyecatching debut.
