Patman Du Charmil hasn't won since 2007 but has raced against different class opposition to these. He's easily on his lowest ever mark for this and it would be no shock to see him bounce back. The ex-Irish Tooman Lane is generally consistent but struggled from his new mark after scoring at Clonmel last February and may just need this. Josear scored at Taunton last April and ran quite well from 7lb higher at Fontwell recently. He's been given a chance by the handicapper and looks a threat though it's TIFOSO who gets the vote. Richard Guest's charge, a very good second at Hexham on soft ground in October, couldn't handle the heavy conditions on a return visit the following month but has since run well on the Flat and the quicker going should be in his favour this time.
