Verdict

Just four runners contest this classified claimer and it is hard to get away from the in form Daunted who is taken to beat Mr Smithers Jones and Orinocovsky. Paul Blockley's eight-year-old takes a step up in trip following two very easy course victories over a mile and a half. He wasn't stopping in those events and it is difficult to see him getting beaten today. Orinocovsky has six lengths to make up with the selection and on only one pound better terms, shouldn't really have a prayer. So Mr Smithers Jones could be the main rival having landed a banded race over course and distance in January. He wasn't disgraced next time either when a brave third behind Delta Force in a much better event. The final contender is King Priam who needs to step up on recent efforts to take a hand in the finish. So Mr Smithers Jones will be a danger but Daunted is expected to land the four timer.
