Phantom Flipper has had 10 starts on the all-weather and been runner-up seven times. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with his attitude but he's been a bit unlucky and that could be the case again. He again ran very well behind Berlios here a couple of weeks ago when SPICE MILL was over two lengths back in third but the latter was having his first start and ran green so, with that under his belt, he's taken to reverse the form and land this. Just That Lord's three runs were spread out from April to September last year but he showed enough pace and promise to be a serious contender though the main threat could arrive in the shape of September Issue, who wasn't beaten far in any of his three runs in late summer.
