Sir Bond could be the answer to this tricky contest with Haunt The Zoo and Peregrine Hawk the others for the shortlist. The selection has been in good form of late and was a close second behind the well-handicapped Shifty on Saturday. He remains on the same mark here and in what looks an easier race he is difficult to oppose. Haunt The Zoo is not getting any younger but she usually holds her own in this grade and she shaped encouragingly last time when a decent third behind Cumbrian Princess. Peregrine Hawk was an unlucky loser last time when he was sent off as a short price favourite, but he has plenty of chances without taking one and we are happy to take him on. Mary Carleton beat Peregrine Hawk last time and is weighted to confirm her superiority over him. This is a trappy affair and we will give the nomination to the in-form Sir Bond.
