        Verdict

        Vadinka is thoroughly exposed so he is passed over in favour of Hostage, with Lauder also looking to be a threat. The selection made a pleasing debut when a staying-on fourth to Golan Way, and whilst this drop in trip doesn't appear to be ideal, he is expected to be a lot sharper today and looks the one to be on. Lauder hails from an in-form but unfashionable stable and ran a lot better than his odds suggested on his debut, so if improving on that effort he could easily be in the shake-up. Vadinka has had plenty of chances and will surely find at least one too good for the twelfth time, whilst newcomer Mujamead should be monitored in the betting for signs of confidence. Overall though, Hostage appears to be the one open to most improvement and so he gets the tentative nod.
