In depth

Verdict

Another real puzzle for punters and a narrow vote is given to Elms Schoolboy, with Inescapable and Mister Aziz two of many dangers. The selection was a shade disappointing last time but his previous third behind Imperium in a better race at Wolverhampton puts him in with strong claims here. He has performed well here in the past and a big run can be expected under Dale Gibson. Inescapable is from a yard in decent form and following two recent runs couild be spot on for this. His second to Wodhill Be over course and distance in December makes good reading and he will be difficult to keep out of the money if reproducing that sort of form. Mister Aziz has the obvious form claims having finished an excellent third behind Mount Royale in a similar contest over course and distance last time. Any money for Super Canyon would be of interest, but in a wide open affair Elms Schoolboy is a tentative choice.
